Maria Elena Lopez (Nena as she’s known to most people) has been with the City of Soledad for over 30 years.  In November 2007, she was appointed to the position of Police Records Supervisor for the Records Section of the Soledad Police Department. Prior to holding this position, Maria Elena was a clerk for the City’s finance department.  She supervises a team of two non-sworn staff members.

Maria Elena was born in Salinas, California and has lived in Soledad all of her life. On her time off, she enjoys spending time with her husband, their children and grandchildren. She also enjoys extended family gatherings, cooking, reading, and being anywhere with water and the sun and a variety of other pastimes.
